About Your MPP
Meet Andrew Dowie
Andrew has been serving as MPP of Windsor–Tecumseh since 2022. He was successfully re-elected for his second term in February of 2025. Andrew has always had a passion for representing his community, having been first elected to Tecumseh Town Council in 2014 and acclaimed in Ward 1 in 2018.
When Andrew isn’t attending to his Legislative duties in Toronto, he’s meeting with community leaders, businesses and organization to better understand the needs of the community.
On his off days he enjoys spending time with his wife Mary and their two cats Findlay and Phoebe and doing outdoor activities.
