Andrew Dowie MPP Windsor Tecumseh Grant Newsletter August 2023

25 August, 2023

Good Day Everyone,

Welcome to our first Windsor-Tecumseh Grant Newsletter for Charities and Non-Profits.  Our goal is to engage with as many Charities and Non-Profits throughout our riding to inform about various grant/program funding opportunities, volunteer recognition, community engagement events, webinars and in-person sessions.

While many agencies may be aware of recurring funding opportunities, such as the various Ontario Trillium Foundation streams, many are new to funding requests. In addition, our office receives a wide range of small and medium grant and program funding solicitations from businesses and foundations throughout the country. One such example is Ontario Hydro, who recently offered a $25,000 Community Grant to 25 communities across the Province. Through a posting on our Facebook page, one local charity applied and was one of 25 recipients selected!

We’d like to ensure this type of information is available to all and to do our utmost to assist local organizations to be successful.

Please feel free to share any funding opportunities you may be aware of, that you don’t see promoted through this newsletter. By sharing and assisting each other, we can help make Windsor-Tecumseh the better community we all strive for.

If you would like to receive this newsletter via a different email address, please email andrew.dowie@pc.ola.org with the requested change.
